Mark your calendars! The countdown to our big day is on, and we're eagerly looking forward to sharing the joy with you.
You're invited to witness the beautiful union of Briana and Jonathan at The Vale, a venue brimming with timeless charm and captivating history. This adults-only wedding ceremony will commence at 4:00pm on the 26th of October, and will be followed by an enchanting evening of dining, drinks, and dancing.
Keep an eye out for when the RSVPs open. Once they do, click the 'RSVP' tab and enter the names listed on your envelope.
Please be sure to RSVP by Thursday, September 26th. If you are unable to attend, kindly inform us at the earliest opportunity. Thank you!
The ceremony and reception will take place at The Vale, 200 East Phillips Street, Conroe, Texas 77301, United States. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. We recommend guests arrive between 3:30-3:45 so there is time to mingle and find a seat.
If you happen to be late, someone will be there to let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. If that happens, you will still be able to attend the reception, so hang tight, and we will see you at the reception!
We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, we've arranged room blocks at several nearby hotels. You can find more information on accommodations, including booking codes and special rates, on our website's "Travel" page.

We understand things come up. Let us know as soon as possible via phone call or email so we can make adjustments to the guest list.
We would love to share our special day with as many people as possible, but due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate all plus ones. Please check your invitation for attendee information. If we have allowed you a plus one, we have listed her/his name or "Plus One" on your RSVP profile. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.
While we adore your little ones, please note our wedding ceremony and reception will be an adult-only affair. We've got a night of great food, drinks, and dancing planned, and we want you to join us in unwinding and having a blast without any interruptions. So, let's all kick back, enjoy each other's company, and make some unforgettable memories together.
We can’t wait to dance the night away with our favorite people. The dress code is Formal with Black-Tie Optional. This means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire, a floor-length evening gown or tuxedo, but may also choose to wear a classic suit including a tie or a cocktail dress/dressy separates instead. The ceremony and reception will occur indoors, while the cocktail hour will be held outdoors. It is expected to be warm. We suggest checking the weather before packing and dressing for the day.
We also kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams. No jeans please!
Transportation details will vary depending on the location and the preferences of our guests. We're currently exploring options for shuttle services for your convenience. More information about transportation arrangements will be shared closer to the wedding date, so please stay tuned for updates on our website.
Guests will have access to free parking in a lot across the street from our venue. Parking assistants will be available to help guests safely cross the street and into the venue.
We invite you to be truly present with us during our nuptials with an unplugged ceremony. We ask that phones and cameras remain out of sight until the ceremony concludes!
We have experienced photographers and videographers capturing our day and will happily share our professional images with you after the wedding. You are more than welcome to take photos and videos throughout the course of the reception. This is such a special day for us, and we want you able to take it all in, celebrate, and be in the moment with us!
Busting a move or two on the dance floor are all that we ask for, however, if you wish to share a gift with us in celebration, please click the Registry tab in the navigation at the top of the page.
If you have specific concerns or allergies, please list them on your RSVP card or email us and we will confer with our caterer.
Throughout our wedding festivities, you will see #BecomingBarksdale incorporated. Feel free to use this hashtag to share your night with us and others.
No. There are some decorations that were borrowed, rented, or that the couple hopes to reuse, so please leave our reception with a goodie bag, a full belly, and wonderful memories.
