How we met

It all began with a little bit of fate and a cancellation. A mutual friend was supposed to host a party to kick off some friends' haunted house visit, but at the last minute, those plans fell through. Briana stepped up and offered her own space for the festivities, even though she had no intention of going to the haunted house because, let's be real, she's terrified of anything remotely spooky. During the party, a friend asked Briana if people she didn't know but were originally invited could still attend, to which she agreed.

Meanwhile Jonathan, who was gearing up for the haunted house, got the new location info from a mutual friend but got turned around in the apartment complex trying to find the party. Briana went out to find him, and ironically, as soon as she left, Jonathan found the game room. When she finally gave up her search and returned to the party, she did so with a laugh and a twerk, catching everyone's attention—especially Jonathan's.

The party buzzed with conversations, and Jonathan couldn't help but be impressed when the topic of sports came up. Briana trash-talked everyone about her Cleveland sports teams, to which Jonathan over heard and joined in. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, and before they knew it, most of the guests were gearing up to head to the haunted house.

With the haunted house nearing its final call, Jonathan made his move. Instead of joining the haunted house crew, he asked Briana out on a date which she accepted. Together, the two of them made their way to the House of Pies. Over brunch and endless conversation that stretched into the late hours of the night, Briana and Jonathan discovered kindred spirits in each other. 

When Jonathan drove Briana home, neither of them wanted the night to end. They sat in his car, talking and laughing, with their favorite songs playing in the background, until the early hours of the morning. From that fateful spooky night onward, Jonathan and Briana have been inseparable. 

They've traveled to amazing places, made countless memories, and even welcomed a child covered in fur, Tupac, filling their lives with endless laughter and love.
